Westfield Topanga

Los Angeles, CA

This climber looms above one of the main pedestrian thoroughfares at the Village at Westfield Topanga . The structure is composed of two offset parallel rings, each with opposing ribs which give each side a clam shell shape. The pipes and platforms take their hues from abutting trees, while some platforms are fabricated from glow-in-the-dark plastic which gives the climber an other-worldly quality of luminous green at night.
